We are excited to spend some time this summer making art with you! Camps
will be held in the Parks & Recreation room at Norrisville Elementary School.
For two weeks this summer, we will explore art history, learn new media, and
improve our skills. There’s no better way to spend the week! Each course will
be divided into two age/skill level groups. Cost is $75.00 per session or a full
day option $135.00. The price for all camp sessions includes the costs of all
supplies and clay firing fees.
Week 1, July 28-August 1
Morning Session- Natural Resources: Using nature as inspiration we will sketch, sculpt and even
make our own paper! Ages 6-9, 10 and up 9:30am-12:00pm
Afternoon Session- Exploring Clay- A favorite just got better! Students will learn all hand building
techniques and be introduced to the potter’s wheel. Ages 6-9, 10 and up 1:00pm-3:30pm
Week 2, August 4-8
Morning Session- Piece it Together: Found and created objects come together in new ways.
Ages 6-9, 10 and up 9:30am-12:00pm
Afternoon Session- Printmaking: Multiple image magic! Ages 6-9, 10 and up 1:00pm-3:30pm
